Several studies have investigated a variety of factors responsible for affecting the use of social networking sites (SNS), but the investigation of these factors is still under development. In this study, we intend to contribute to the literature by replicating, expanding and testing an existing conceptual model to a more recent context, and "We-Intention" as the dependent variable and Satisfaction with Life, Subjective Norm, Group Norms, Social Identy, Purposive Value, Self-Discovery, Maintaining Interpesonal Interconeectivity, Social Enhancement, Entertainment Value and Social Presence as the independent variables. This study focused on psychological and sociological factors that influence to use (We-Intention) social networking sites between users in Brazil. For this, a survey was developed in tho phases. The first aimed to test the research model on intentional social action in online social networks, proposed by Dholakia, Bagozzi and Pearo (2004) and expanded by Cheung, Chiu and Lee (2011), in the Brazilian context. The literature review showed the main elements of the intended use of social networkings sites, motivations, Social Influence, Uses and Gratification paradigm, Social Presence, Satisfaction with Life, Internet and social networks. The sample of the first survey included 1125 participants. data were analyzed using structural equation modeling and the minimum squares (PLS) with Software SmartPLS. Facebook was analyzed by its popularity, ease of interaction and higher levels of social connectivity. The results were different from the original model, with Subjective Norm, Social Identity, Maintaining Interpesonal Interconnectivity, Entertainment Value and Purposive Value for significant intentional "We-Intention". The model explained 42% of the dependent variable, higher than the original research (R2 = 0.28). In search of more evidence on the intended use, the variable was included Satisfaction with Life to research model on intentional social action in online social networks, as an explanatort variable. Thus, a new was conducted two years later (n = 1111). The results of structural equation modeling revealed the group of factors with which it has greater interaction and the influence of Life Satisfaction on We-Intention, directly impacting Subjective Norm, Group Norms and Social Identy. Entertainment Value and Maintaining Interpesonal Interconnectivity were also significant again. The model R2 was 0.36. The results are consistent with the existing literature on the theory, and show different arrangements between the influencing factors the behavior of Brazilian consumers
