dc.description.abstract© 2016 IEEE.Transdisciplinary collaboration is evolving rapidly in the context of addressing issues and solving complex problems. In addition, such collaboration requires continuous learning and knowledge sharing among the collaborators. Technology advances have enabled the design and development of cloud based collaborative learning and teaching solution. This paper discusses the technology architecture components that facilitate collaborative learning and knowledge sharing. Finally, the paper describes a pioneering SaaS platform, Lensoo, which provides a framework for collaborative learning, teaching, and knowledge sharing while emphasizing user-oriented approach to manage complexity.
