Multivariate judder behavior analysis of dry clutches based on torque signal and friction material. 2014 IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference, VPPC 2014, Jan. 2015.https://repositorio.fei.edu.br/handle/FEI/3969© 2014 IEEE.Automotive industries are always concerned to offer more comfort to drivers. In particular, the judder must be avoided as much as possible. Although judder is a very complex phenomenon caused by several factors, this work has focused only on the clutch facing. Based on multivariate statistical analysis and on the torque signal from a real bench test, it has been possible to separate the facings according to their judder performance and manufacturing characteristics. Most importantly, such analysis has been able to establish a gold standard behavior for torque that might be extremely helpful for friction material development, allowing a more consistent understanding of the judder behavior.Acesso RestritoMultivariate judder behavior analysis of dry clutches based on torque signal and friction materialArtigo de evento10.1109/VPPC.2014.7007108ClutchFacingFriction materialMultivariate statistical analysis
