Electrical rotating equipment failure detection using wavelet based current signature. 12th Biennial IEEE Conference on Electromagnetic Field Computation, CEFC 2006, p. 363, Mayo, 2006.https://repositorio.fei.edu.br/handle/FEI/4354This paper presents a methodology suitable for industrial and household electrical equipment failure detection. The proposed approach is based on the Wavelet Based Current Signature Analysis. A current sensor, a digital analogical converter, and an oscilloscope, basically, form the data acquisition system setup. Using software tools, the acquired data are posprocessed. Based on wavelet analysis, the real-time failure detection is carried out. This approach is, particularly, helpful when a high accuracy process is needed. As an example, it can be mentioned the ones concerning the feedback control system applied to industrial machine process, in which the analysis of the electric equipment performance takes a very important role on it. An application related to an electrical drill machine failure detection is presented. © 2006 IEEE.Acesso RestritoElectrical rotating equipment failure detection using wavelet based current signatureArtigo de evento10.1109/CEFC-06.2006.1633153
