Molecular interactions of ionic liquid {n-butylammonium methanoate (N4Met) + alcohols} at several temperatures: Thermodynamic and spectroscopic properties. Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, v. 148, sept. 2020.1096-3626https://repositorio.fei.edu.br/handle/FEI/3632© 2020New experimental data for density, speed of sound and viscosity for binary mixtures of protic ionic liquid {n-butylammonium methanoate (N4Met) + ethanol, or +1-propanol, or +1-butanol, or +1-pentanol} were measured in the whole concentration range at different temperatures T = (293.15–313.15) K and p = 92.3 kPa. These results were used to obtain derived mixtures and excess properties. Correlation for viscosity proposed by Grünberg-Nissan, Heric-Brewer, Van der Wyk and Katti-Chaudhri have been used to correlate the viscosity values for the binary mixtures. To complement the thermodynamics results, spectroscopic studies (1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR) have been performed.Acesso RestritoMolecular interactions of ionic liquid {n-butylammonium methanoate (N4Met) + alcohols} at several temperatures: Thermodynamic and spectroscopic propertiesArtigo10.1016/j.jct.2020.106140AlcoholsDensityIonic liquidsSpectroscopySpeed of soundViscosity
