Resumo
A presente pesquisa busca analisar as relações em redes de empreendedores sociais no momento de criação e desenvolvimento de seus negócios sob o olhar teórico da lógica effectuation. A pesquisa utilizou a metodologia de estudo de caso múltiplo para a análise de dois negócios sociais localizados na cidade de São Paulo, com o intuito de realizar um mapeamento dos elos e laços desses empreendedores no período de criação do seu negócio. O estudo traz inicialmente uma revisão da literatura internacional e nacional que aborda o tema effectuation, trazendo a discussão sobre os princípios da teoria, os principais debates e proposições teóricas e perguntas de pesquisa e resultados obtidos em pesquisas anteriores. O segundo momento do referencial teórico aborda o campo de estudo das redes com atenção especial ao conceito de redes, considerando os principais estudos sobre redes e com ênfase no mapeamento de laços fortes e fracos. A análise dos casos resulta em contribuições para o campo de estudo do empreendedorismo, especialmente aos estudos de effectuation com ênfase em redes. Foi possível encontrar relações entre os principais teóricos de effectuation e as relações em redes em fases iniciais de um negócio social, identificando a existência de uma busca dos empreendedores pelos relacionamentos em rede e a busca por laços fortes. A pesquisa proporcionou uma compreensão sobre as tendências de relacionamento em redes no que se refere aos empreendedores de negócios sociais, levando à identificação de possíveis pesquisas futuras que relacionem o tema de redes a questões como gênero e etnia, além de relacionar a lente teórica de effectuation com o processo decisório analisando empreendedores sociais, caminhos que podem dar continuidade à presente pesquisa e aprimorar, tanto em termos teóricos quanto empíricos, a teoria de effectuation e do campo de estudo de redes
The present research seeks to analyze the relationships in networks of social entrepreneurs at the moment of creation and development of their businesses under the theorical view of effectuation. The research was based on the methodology of a multiple case study to analyze two social businesses located in the city of São Paulo, with the purpose of mapping the links of these entrepreneurs in the period of creation of their business. The study initially brings a review of the international and national literature addressing the topic effectuation, bringing the discussion principles of theory, main debates and theoretical propositions and research questions and results obtained from previous research. The second moment of the theoretical reference addresses the field of study of networks with special attention to the concept of networks, main studies within the field of networks with emphasis on the mapping of strong and weak ties. Case analysis results in contributions to the field of study of entrepreneurship, but especially to effectuation studies with an emphasis on networks. It was possible to find relationships between the theoretical principles of effectuation and the relationships in networks in the early stages of a social business, identifying the existence of a search of the entrepreneurs by the network relationships and the search for strong ties. The research provided an understanding of network relationship tendencies as it relates to social entrepreneurs, in turn, relate to the identification of some possible future research that may relate the theme of networks to issues such as gender, ethnicity, and also relate the theoretical lens of effectuation with decision making by analyzing social entrepreneurs, these paths that can follow the present research and improve both in theoretical an empirical terms of effectuation theory and the field of study of networks
