Resumo
Realizou-se um estudo bibliométrico e uma análise sistemática da produção científica nacional e internacional sobre Negócios Sociais em 247 artigos acadêmicos, os quais foram organizados em seis categorias: (i) Artigos nacionais publicados em periódicos e congressos; (ii) artigos latinos, com exceção do Brasil, publicados em periódicos e congressos; (iii) artigos publicados em periódicos com alto Fator de Impacto; (iv) artigos mais citados de acordo com o Google Scholar; (v) artigos que abordaram temas correlatos aos Negócios Sociais; (vi) artigos publicados no “Social Enterprise Journal”, especializado no tema. A pesquisa feita tem caráter exploratório, de cunho misto, qualitativo quanto à parte bibliográfica e análise sistemática dos resultados e das lacunas apontados pelos autores investigados e, concomitantemente, quantitativo quanto à aplicação de Estatística Descritiva e Lei de Lotka nos dados obtidos. O objetivo principal da pesquisa foi o de captar, sistematizar e analisar a produção científica internacional e nacional acerca de Negócios Sociais. Os resultados apontam para um crescimento no campo dos Negócios Sociais, teórica e empiricamente. Além disso, os estudos têm se concentrado em seis temáticas: (1) na compreensão dos Negócios Sociais, por meio de diferentes abordagens, conceitos e modelos; (2) na Governança e relação desses empreendimentos com seus stakeholders; (3) na tentativa de ampliar as amostras e referências práticas dentro da temática; (4) na Aprendizagem Organizacional, estrutura e fatores críticos de sucesso e fracasso de NS; (5) nas métricas, indicadores e impactos sociais gerados por essas atividades; (6) na relação entre os NS e a legislação em diferentes países. Verifica-se que apenas 5,67% dos artigos realizaram pesquisas exclusivamente quantitativas; nesse sentido, sugere-se a realização de mais pesquisas quantitativas sobre o tema. Além disso, os autores apontam para a necessidade de realização de mais estudos empíricos sobre Negócios Sociais, com a finalidade de aprofundar o conhecimento sobre o funcionamento dessas organizações. Por fim, pretende-se, a partir da compreensão sistematizada da literatura sobre o tema, contribuir para a produção científica nacional sobre Negócios Sociais.

The search made has exploratory character, mixed nature, qualitative, by the bibliography and systematic analysis of results and, concomitantly, quantitative, by the Descriptive Statistics and application of Lotka Law on data obtained. The main objective of the research was to capture, organize and analyze the international and national scientific production about Social Business. Results indicate growth in the field of Social Business, theoretical and empirically. In addition , studies have focused on six themes: (1) understanding of Social Business, through different approaches, concepts and designs; (2) the Governance and relationship with its stakeholders; (3) in an attempt to expand the samples and practical references in the subject; (4) in Organizational Learning, structure and critical success factors and failure of SB; (5) the metrics , indicators and social impacts generated by these activities; (6) the relationship between the SB and legislation in different countries. It is found that only 5.67 % of the articles made exclusively quantitative research; accordingly, it is suggested to conduct more quantitative research on the subject. In addition, the authors highlight the need for more empirical studies about this type of organization, in order to deepen the knowledge about the functioning of them. Finally, it is intended, from the systematic understanding of the literature on the topic, contribute to the international and national scientific production in Social Business.
